I was particularly struck by this sentence: “One reason no one wants to grow up in America is that many adults don’t make their life stage look very attractive.” I see this in many movies about contemporary America.
I am glad for four older men who showed that getting older can be fruitful, exciting, and need not be something to fear, but embrace gladly. One of the four is my dad who still is going strong serving the poor, leading Bible studies, etc. at the ripe age of nearly 88. And he still drives…pretty well thankfully!

Hey John,
I am glad for four older men who showed that getting older can be fruitful, exciting, and need not be something to fear, but embrace gladly. One of the four is my dad who still is going strong serving the poor, leading Bible studies, etc. at the ripe age of nearly 88. And he still drives…pretty well thankfully!
