Dave Moore makes all of us think – better, longer, and deeper. Given the shallow directions our world is heading, we can only be thankful for Dave’s great ministry. But I don’t know why he posts such strange photos of himself.

I don’t blog well. I like the brief, encouraging and humorous part. The ‘thought provoking’ part hurts my head. God bless you (us) brother.

So how long will it take before we see you address some of these topics? “Dallas Seminary Pastors Don’t Teach the Bible” sounds controversial. Are you planning a critique of DTS?

Thanks Larry, but I don’t believe it. I have heard your questions and musings enough to know you think just fine!

Hey John, I can’t give away the details yet, but that post will most likely be in the first month.

    Dave,

I look forward to reading your posts. You do a terrific job (usually) of boiling down a tremendous amount of history and theology into a very careful and thoughtful summary. I hope one of your posts addresses the difference between biblical authority and biblical interpretation. It seems like many discussions regarding biblical truth often degenerate into one side asserting that they believe the bible more than the other side when they are simply confusing interpretation and authority.

    Dave –
In the light of William Buckley’s comment about you – the next book could be Glandular Christianity.

I look forward to following your posts. You are always thought-provoking but charitable in your writings. I have used your Ecclesiastes commentary in my home Bible study group recently and it was especially helpful in drawing out the practical applications of the Word.
