When this abbreviation was first being used a friend used it in an email to me. I thought it meant Love O&#8217; Lots!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>There are now many of these abbreviations like TMI, Too Much Information or IDNK, I Did Not Know.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I hate all of them.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>They remind me of the pathetic and phrenetic world we now inhabit. Speed and the attendant loss of attention spans is now the accepted, even lauded norm.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>We have lost much by such verbal shortcuts.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Christians should joyfully stand against the dismantling of language.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>IMO, of course!<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;m sure most of us know that LOL stands for Laugh Out Load.
