Many of you know by now that Dallas Willard died this past Wednesday.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Willard’s influence on American Christianity was both deep and wide.<\/strong><\/p>\n

It was my privilege to interview him for an entire hour on two separate occasions.\u00a0 The first book of his I read was Spirit of the Disciplines<\/em>.\u00a0 It was the late 1980s and I was going through it with a new staff member of Cru at Stanford.\u00a0 It remains my favorite Willard book.<\/strong><\/p>\n

There are many laudatory things being said about Dallas Willard.\u00a0 John Ortberg’s piece is worth reading:<\/strong><\/p>\n
