{"id":7002,"date":"2017-06-04T00:05:44","date_gmt":"2017-06-04T05:05:44","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.twocities.org\/?p=7002"},"modified":"2017-05-28T19:10:07","modified_gmt":"2017-05-29T00:10:07","slug":"four-types-of-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.twocities.org\/?p=7002","title":{"rendered":"FOUR TYPES OF PEOPLE"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><em>Four Kinds of People<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>My wife and I were talking about a piece she read by Tim Keller in which he describes two types of people:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Those who get what they want and are not happy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Those who do not get what they want and are not happy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>My wife took the second group of people and made two groups:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Those who have given up believing they will ever get what they want to be happy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Those who have not given up believing they will ever get what they want to be happy<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>As we were talking about all this, Doreen asked me if I thought there were non-Christians who truly were happy with their lives.\u00a0 I do.\u00a0 In fact, I know some.\u00a0 They have not yet gotten to Ecc. 2:11.
