During a time of reflection, six C’s came to me as representing effective, Christian teaching. \u00a0Our dear friend, Karen Debenport, reminded me of one I have always included, but failed to add. \u00a0See the first two replies:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Christ-centered<\/strong><\/p>\n

Curiosity of teacher.\u00a0 He or she is always learning.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Creative presentation<\/strong><\/p>\n

Clarity of thought<\/strong><\/p>\n

Charity toward those who disagree.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Compassion\/true Christian care for everyone.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Compelling delivery.\u00a0 The teacher really believes what they are talking about and not just going through the motions.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I love how Andrew Delbanco reminds us (College: What It Was, Is, And<\/em> Should Be<\/em>, p. 63-64) that great teaching will always be in vogue.<\/strong><\/p>\n
