Scot\u2019s \u201cJesus Creed\u201d has posted some of my writing.\u00a0 My book, The Last Men\u2019s Book<\/i> You\u2019ll Ever Need<\/i>, was featured on Justin\u2019s, \u201cBetween Two Worlds\u201d and Crossway regularly sends me books for review.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Scot and Justin are fine men whom I have corresponded with from time to time.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cJesus Creed\u201d and \u201cBetween Two Worlds\u201d are indispensable reads.\u00a0 For the record, I don\u2019t list my favorite blogs on “Moore Engaging.”\u00a0 I have too many so it would eat up precious space.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I greatly appreciate what both<\/em> Scot and Justin bring to the body of Christ, but it seems I must be in the minority.\u00a0 I have noticed if a blogger lists Scot\u2019s blog, they predictably leave off Justin\u2019s.\u00a0 And vice versa.<\/strong><\/p>\n

I did notice Trevin Wax\u2019s blogroll lists the blogs of Scot and Justin.\u00a0 Trevin has a \u201cGospel Coalition\u201d blog, but it does not keep him from declaring his admiration for both John Piper and N.T. Wright. \u00a0Trevin continues in this vein:<\/strong><\/p>\n

“Both are men of God who have a deep love for the Scriptures. Both have devoted their lives to the service of the kingdom. Both men are scholars who are simultaneously devoted to the Church\u2026I began reading John Piper and N.T. Wright at about the same time (2003). I have benefited greatly from both of these men\u2019s works. It has been theologically sharpening for me\u00a0to have read extensively from both sides of this debate.”<\/strong><\/p>\n

So here is my proposal (no pun intended):\u00a0 More than a truce, let there be a marriage of sorts between Scot and Justin\u2019s considerable followers.\u00a0 Like all good marriages, I am not advocating some bland and therefore bogus agreement.\u00a0 This would be a healthy marriage where fights are fair, love is tangibly displayed, and the real Enemy acknowledged as the only enemy<\/i>.<\/strong><\/p>\n
