{"id":6379,"date":"2016-08-15T00:13:08","date_gmt":"2016-08-15T05:13:08","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.twocities.org\/?p=6379"},"modified":"2016-08-13T08:20:03","modified_gmt":"2016-08-13T13:20:03","slug":"6379","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.twocities.org\/?p=6379","title":{"rendered":"SATAN&#8217;S STRATEGIES"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Satan is not omniscient.\u00a0 He is clever and I&#8217;m sure very observant.\u00a0 So if he sees how a certain person always goes for chocolate when they are discouraged, he gains some insight.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>Putting your struggles down on paper does not give him any extra power over you because his power is delegated by God.\u00a0 To use Luther&#8217;s phrase, &#8220;Satan is God&#8217;s dog.&#8221;\u00a0 Sometimes the leash is given more slack, but he never can do more than God allows.\u00a0 Anything he might &#8220;read&#8221; on paper he probably already knows by his observations and God&#8217;s permissive will.<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p><strong>As C.S.
