{"id":5732,"date":"2015-09-03T00:00:34","date_gmt":"2015-09-03T05:00:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.twocities.org\/?p=5732"},"modified":"2020-06-03T10:23:19","modified_gmt":"2020-06-03T15:23:19","slug":"how-i-read","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.twocities.org\/?p=5732","title":{"rendered":"HOW I READ"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>My own reading is summarized by the acrostic GROWTH.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>G: Greats which right now is a reread of <i>The Taming of the Shrew <\/i>by Mr. Shakespeare.\u00a0 And I did not start reading Shakespeare until my early forties.\u00a0 There is hope for anyone!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>R: Reviews I need to write or books for upcoming interviews.\u00a0 I have already read many terrific things for my show, \u201cMoore Engaging,\u201d and will be sharing those in the months ahead.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>O: Other reading that doesn\u2019t neatly fit in the five main categories.\u00a0 It is only as time permits which is rare!\u00a0 These kinds of books might find their way on vacation\u2026which has also been rare these past several years.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>W: Word of God.\u00a0 Commentaries and any book which helps me know the Bible better.\u00a0 And yes, I like to read commentaries cover to cover like <i>real<\/i> books.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>T: Teaching preparation which can be just about anything.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>H: History which I am regularly reading.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Repost<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My own reading is summarized by the acrostic GROWTH.
