David George Moore

David Moore is founder and president of "Two Cities Ministries." The inspiration for the name of the ministry comes from St. Augustine's classic, City of God. "Right Well" executive coaching is presently affiliated with Two Cities.

He has extensive media experience including a one-hour interview/special with William F. Buckley that played around the country on PBS.

David has spoken at several universities and churches on a variety of topics. He has been a plenary speaker for the Veritas Forum and Campus Crusade for Christ. Other than the United States, conference speaking has taken him to Canada, Mexico, Poland, Croatia, and France. He has also spoken at numerous professional baseball and football chapels for teams such as the San Francisco Giants, Chicago Cubs, Kansas City Chiefs, San Francisco 49ers, and Chicago Bears.

David graduated with academic honors from Dallas Theological Seminary and received a M.A. in Christian Thought (magna cum laude) from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. At Trinity, he was awarded the Professor C.B. Bjuge award for his thesis and was co-recipient, along with his wife, of the Kitty DeBaets Memorial Award for "academic excellence and commitment to family." He is listed in various editions of Who's Who. His undergraduate degree is from Arizona State University where he studied communication and served as a teacher's assistant for two different professors.

He is the author of The Battle for Hell (University Press of America, 1995), which was endorsed by Wayne Grudem, J.I. Packer, Clark Pinnock and Dallas Willard. His writings have appeared in the Austin American-Statesman, Bibliotheca Sacra, Current Thoughts & Trends, Gospel Witness, Reformation and Revival Journal, Stulos Theological Journal, Touchstone: A Journal of Mere Christianity and Viewpoint. He has been quoted in Moody Monthly, Time, and TomPaine.com. His commentary on Ecclesiastes (Broadman & Holman) was chosen by Preaching magazine as one of the best books in 2003 for preachers. His third book, The Last Men's Book You'll Ever Need, was published in May of 2008.

He is married to the former Doreen Lynn Hebbeler, the author of a book on three eighteenth-century Christian leaders entitled Good Christians, Good Husbands?: Leaving a Legacy in Marriage and Ministry (Christian Focus Publications of Scotland, UK). Doreen received a M.A. in Christian Thought (summa cum laude) from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School where she graduated valedictorian in a class over 200. They have two sons: David Joseph is in the tenth-grade and Christopher Daniel is in the seventh grade.
